Phil Wiggins was half of the internationally acclaimed acoustic blues duo “Cephas and Wiggins” for 30 years. Wiggins’ honors with Cephas include Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall, the White House, and a seat on the National Council for the Traditional Arts. He has recorded albums for the Alligator, Rounder, and Smithsonian labels, to name a few.
Phil met George Kilby Jr not long after the passing of their respective musical partners.This meeting has resulted in a new partnership including tours and festivals in the US, Canada and Europe, a well-received recording, and a songwriting collaboration which will result in a new album.
