Here
are two new songs. One recorded live, the other featuring Pinetop Perkins and an ALL-STAR band. We hope you enjoy them.
"Sick and Tired" is one of the George's most popular funk tunes at live gigs. This version pays homage to the great New Orleans Drummer Charles "Honeyboy" Otis, who taught George the tune. We
recorded this version at WPRI in Troy NY, where our friend Steve
Daub hosts a weekly
show at www.wrpi.org.
This rocking "3 Finger Boogie" showcases Pintetop with some illustrious personnel. The horn chart was wrtten by George and
Howie Wyeth. The band features the bari Sax of Andy Goessling of Railroad
Earth, the legendary "Honeyboy" Otis on drums, (see above) and federal agent Tim Clark.
